This superb knife remains in pristine mint condition. The 5 1/2" blade remains in pristine mint condition. There are NO scratches, scuffs, nor marks anywhere on the blade! A.G. Russell, who was a retailer for Black Jack logo knives, for only a short period of time, shows their BJ logo is present. The handles are superb swirl, Black Micarta. The brass guard has NOT been buffed, nor polished. Only it's attractive age toning is present. The lanyard hole is brass lined, and there is a paracord attached w/"burned" ends so they won't fray. It comes with a brown cardboard "blade protector", but I have attached one of my acid-free blade protectors as the factory one is from acid brown treated cardboard which over time will attack bright polish blades. There is a fabulous great heavy dutyscabbard w/John Ek sewed label on the back. The original box is in NM condition. Overall a pretty rare knife with only a "small" production run. MADE IN EFFINGHAM, IL. UNITED STATES! NOT IMPORTED! Note, very slight movement from crossguard, mentioned for accuracy. The knife is NOT "loose". The guard is soldered to the blade. Nothing can become loose. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you have any questions regarding this, or any Allied Military Fighting Knife, please let me know.
