SOLD Good workingTower GR English Sea Service Brown Bess type flint pistol with a .68 cal smooth bore that is very clean. Most likely made in Japan in the 1960's or ealier, so this is a gun made for shooting.Hammer functions very well, and the lock works well, butis stiff from non-use,. Mellow Brass furniture,and side plate,and butt-cap, with an iron ramrod. Bore is very good with dust from storage. Overall a clean pistol, appears to have been used with some age handling but not an abused gun.Barrel marked with EIG Japan on the left side.Total length is about 16",and the in the white barrel is 9" Has a hard wood stock in good condition.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
