Winchester Model 70 SN# 401860 Made in 1957. Up for sale is a clean Winchester Model 70 standard weight chambered in the new .243 cartridge, Introduced in 1955, the .243 was mostly marketed in the featherweight version which makes these standard weight models more rare. This rifle has been dressed up with a jewelled bolt and magazine follower. All metal parts display bright factory original blued metal finish. The stock carries the steel buttplate. Please add 40.00 freight and insurance. No Calif. buyers please.
