Marlin Model 989-M2 - Semi-Auto Carbine Style .22 Lr . Rifle - Styled after the US 30M1- Carbine - Walnut carbine style stock with hand guard, barrel band and sling swivels. New 15 round clip magazine . Wgt. 5 lbs. 18 in. barrel and receiver grooved for scope. Ramp style front sight with blade. Includes a Simmons 2.5 x 32 Scope w/ mtgs. in excellent condition with clear lenses. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90 % to 95% bluing. Butt plate and white spacer are in great shape. Stock and forend are in very good condition. The clip style magazine configuration is difficult to find especially in this condition. Manufactured from 1966 to 1979 . Collector quality.
