Description:
Original E.L. Gallatin Slim Jim Holster for .36 Cal. Colt Navy. In 1863 Gallatin bought out Landis of Independence, Missouri and established E.L. Gallatin & Co. He owned shops in Nebraska City, Cheyenne, Wyoming and Denver. Gallatin made saddles for the Pony Express.
The holster shows light wear and all stitching is intact. Nice floral design. The markings E.L. Gallatin & Co. makers. Holster has original bottom plug. RARE,
