Description:
A two piece English Walnut blank with excellent grain lay out and figure. A dark honey color, this will finish perfectly with light oil. Photos show the blank with a light coat of paste floor waxl. The buttstock is 18 1/2 x 7 x 3 and 2 1/2" kthick. It was cut in the early 1990's and has dried in So. Calif ever since. It is ready to work. The matching forearm is 2 1/2 x 2 3/4 x 13" long. It is very solid and will take and hold very fine line checkering. This will make a beautiful stock for a higher grade shotgun or rifle.
