Excellent MERKEL- SUHL O/U Shotgun cal 16/70ga
GDR-made, high quality MERKEL – Suhl O/U Shotgun, cal 16/70ga with color-hardened & floral engraved boxlock receiver.
Selected Walnut with European Cheek Piece, Finely checkered Pistol Grip & Split Forend. Lightly engraved Boxlock, Greener double cross bolt, Double triggers, Ejectors, Cocking indicator, Sling swivels, Horn pad at stock's end and at pistol grip. Ribbed Barrels are 28” long with golden Front Bead. Chokes are full and 3/4. Blueing is good, Action is tight, Barrels are clean. Total Length 44”, LOP 13 3/4”, Heel 2 ½”, and Comb 1 ½”. Weight is 3 kg (6.6 lbs) Year of Manufacture July 1968
