J.C. Higgins Model 31-Semi -Auto-.22LR Rifle - Smooth walnut 2 piece pistol grip style stock with extended forend. Butt plate and white spacer are in excellent condition. Wrist emblem has new white spacer. Tubular 15 LR magazine . Wgt. 5.75 lbs. 24 in long barrel , open rear adj. sight and ramp style bead front sight. Bore is clean and bright. Includes a Tasco 7x42 Scope w/ mtgs. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 95% bluing. This was and still is a very stylish rifle . Also known to be extremely accurate . Some had built -in slings this one does not. Manufactured from approx. 1952 to 1959. This would make a great addition to any J.C. Higgins collection. SALE PENDING
