This DWM 1910 chamber date 9mm P.08 military pistol was manufactured early in 1910. The serial numbers of the 1910 chamber date guns run from approx. 5000b to 5500d. This gun is serial number 5204b. Approx. 17,000 1910 date 1908 military P.08 pistols were made but many were lost during WWI. The 4"" barrel has a fine bore with light firing wear. The gun retains approx. 92% blue with light spotting throughout with the straw finished parts retaining approx. 70% faded finish. It has a correct nonmatching wood base magazine. All parts, including the grips and firing pin match. A hold open, numbered to the gun, was added during its use. The grips are fine with light overall wear. The action functions correctly. This nice example of a pre-WWI P.08 pistol is a must for any WWI or Luger collection.
