Made from 1968-thru 1971 if I recall basically picked up where the 600 left off but without the vent rib. I suspect this gun did some hunting but was well cared for. Overall condition I rate at a shade under ninety five per cent. One of the few centerfires in my collection I have actually shot. Bore is excellent. Comes with a Lyman 4X all american scope with a post. Scope is clear as a bell. I suspect anyone interested in this model is familiar with it. I would think this would be a fine woods rifle gun carries and points very well. If I was a hunter this is the rifle I would carry. I am thinning out my collection. Anyone that likes hunting guns would like this rifle. Great christmas gift for a son or a daughter or the seasoned pro. Prefer phone to E-Mail.
