Description:
25-20 Single Shot, 28 inch part round part octagon barrel with a bright very good plus bore showing some faint frosting with strong rifling throughout. Barrel has toned to a deep plum-brown patina showing some light handling marks. Frame retains about 80% original nickel finish, thinning in places with edge wear toning to dark brown, the nickel taking on a pleasing patina overall. Swiss style buttplate retains perhaps 60% thinning nickel finish. Smooth walnut buttstock and forend remain in very good condition showing some staining and light handling marks overall, the forend has a shallow chip at the left edge tip. The rear sight has been neatly blanked, Mable No.8 front sight and a Lyman tang sight.
