Description:
34 inch octagon barrel with an excellent bore chambered in .44-90 2 5/8 bottleneck. Original sights include a windgauge globe front sight with spirit level and a long range folding tang Vernier peep sight with serial number 154865 which matches all the other parts on the gun. This gun is in extremely nice condition with crisp checkering and most original varnish. Steel buttplate. Mechanics are excellent. This is an extremely rare gun as only 29 No. 2s were manufactured at Hartford plant and only 258 No. 2s were manufactured in total.
