Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 57 is a Classic Series blued steel 6-round 41 Magnum revolver mated to a beautiful wooden grip. The 6.0" barrel gun's overall length is 11.5", and it weighs 48.1 ounces (1.42 l). In front is a red ramp sight while the rear sight is adjustable. The frame, barrel and fluted cylinder are all high strength carbon steel with a nice, high polish blued finish. The walnut grip is elegantly curved in front with an even greater curved palmswell in back. The trigger guard is ovoid and followed by a very deep undercut while the diamond checkered wooden grip contrasts nicely against the blued steel frame. The gun has a classic target style thumbpiece, a color case-hardened hammer and a color case-hardened trigger. The gun also has a hammer block safety. The large Smith & Wesson Model 57 blued steel 6-round 41 Magnum revolvers are one of Smith & Wesson's Large N-frames and is made in Springfield, Massachusetts.
