Up for sale is a beautiful C.S Rosson BLE. This fine English game gun is chambered in 16 ga with 28-inch barrels. The chokes are fixed M/ Imp mod. The gun retains a high degree of original finish. The barrels are 96%. There is some carry wear on the underside of the action. The wood is near excellent with a few minor marks from field use. The barrels are tight on face and the gun locks up tight. Barrels ring like church bells. The bores are in excellent condition. On the flats of the barrels shows all the proof markings, the chambers are 2 ¾. It is nitro proofed and marked for 1 ounce payload. The minimum barrel wall thickness is .018 in the left barrel and .021 in the right. I shoot clays and hunt with vintage doubles in 16 ga and there are a lot of excellent ammunition manufactures that have top quality 1 ounce loads the travel 1200 FPS, you can do it all with that load. This is a dream to carry and it points like a laser beam. Balance perfectly on the hinge pin. C.S Rosson is a well-known English maker. This was manufactured in the mid 1930’s. In my professional opinion fine sporting arms like this are a solid shooting investment. This will be a hard one for me to let go. Below is a list of specs on this fine English double.
