This Winchester was produced in 1927. The carbine's serial number is 1021855. It has the correct early style 20 inch barrel in minty condition. It is chambered for the ever popular 30 W.C.F. {30-30}. The sights are the correct early style sights with the front sight in the post style. The rear sight has the carbine ladder sight. The stock has the carbine butt plate. The saddle ring is intact. This is the true Cowboy Winchester saddle gun of latter years on the frontier! This carbine is in as new condition! the original bluing would rate a 100%! There still is some shipping grease on the receiver and barrel. The stock and handguard are in minty condition! The buttplate has all of the original bluing intact. The muzzle crown is in the correct bright white. This is a very stunning carbine in new condition as it left Winchester all those years ago! The Model 1894 carbine was the work horse of the 1894's.
