1944 manufactured Inland M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine. This 3rd block Inland M1 Carbine has gone through at least three Arsenal reworks in its life time and is comprised of mostly Inland and Underwood components. This M1 Carbine features an Inland receiver, Underwood barrel (6-44), "IO" high wood stock, "IO" upper handguard, Inland slide, Inland type-1 barrel band, and 15 round magazine The parkerized finish across the entirety of the carbine is in great condition overall and shows consistent wear for its age. The high wood "IO" marked stock is in fairly good condition with consistent wear but it has been repaired and pinned on the right side near the slide. The stock features multiple markings including "AAE"(Augusta Arsenal), "AAS"(Augusta Arsenal), "RA-P"(Raritan Arsenal), three "P" proofing marks, "IO" (Inland), and crossed cannons. The bore on the Underwood barrel is in great condition, with sharp rifling, and very minor pitting. The muzzle erosion gauges at a " 2+" and the action functions flawlessly. This M1 Carbine would make an excellent shooter and clears headspacing tests.
