Markings: The left of the barrel is marked "1867 - NEBRASKA CENTENNIAL - 1967". The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. FA.. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.". The right of the barrel is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION FRONTIER SCOUT 22 L.R.". The left of the frame is marked with a rampant colt in circle. The bottom of the frame, forward of the grip frame, is marked "1773NEB". The left of the trigger guard is marked "2". The butt of the grip frame has scroll engraving.
Barrel Length: 4 3/4"
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a quarter-round blade fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch in the topstrap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece mother of pearl panels with gold colored Colt medallions. The grips only a few scattered minor marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grips are in about Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Blue, Black & Gold

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. 
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 100% of its metal finish. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in about Excellent condition.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a blonde wood Colt presentation case with an outline of the state of Nebraska with a Nebraska Centennial medallion set in the center. The interior has gold satin on the lid and blue felt lined fitted tray for the revolver. The exterior of the case has some scattered light compressions, scuffs and general storage wear, the interior shows only very faint wear from the revolver, in about Very Good-plus condition. 
Our Assessment: Made by Colt in 1967 to celebrate the Centennial of Nebraska being admitted as a State to the United States of America, this is a limited edition Colt Frontier Scout revolver. The gun is in about Excellent condition with only a few tiny marks in the grip frame and some light handling marks in its beautiful blue, black and gold finish. The revolver comes with a wood Colt presentation case with the outline of the state on the lid and a Nebraska Centennial medallion set in its center. This would be a great find for a Nebraska resident. A limited edition gun like this would also interest the Colt collector in general, especially in this high condition.
