INSCRIBED COLT POLICE POSITIVE .38 S & W CAL. 4” REVOLVER CIRCA 1921 W/ORIG. BOX. All original with light to moderate blue wear. Grips with moderate wear. Very tight working order and excellent bore. Original box numbered to the gun and factory cleaning brush. Also included are the factory “SHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS” and “SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS” cards which are two fairly scarce enclosures. Lightly hand inscribed in pre war cursive handwritten scroll "Harry Schuetzle/ H.P.D." . In reference to Sgt. Harry Schuetzle of what we think is Hillside, NJ. Further internet seraching should reveal more but cool to have gun with original box and owner.
