Colt Diamondback fitted with a 2 1/2 inch barrel, serrated ramped front sight, adjustable rear sight, is blue finished, and chambered in .22 Long Rifle. What sets this one off from the others is the engraved and gold inlayed frame and cylinder, and the gold filled in factory stampings on the barrel. It is also fitted with attractive Herrett's checkered birdshead style grips with a engraved grip screw. This very attractive, 1968 vintage, Colt Diamondback is in like new condition, retaining 99%+ blue, with the cylinder showing just a very faint drag line. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. Comes with its original numbered to the gun box, a Colt factory letter authenticating the caliber, finish, and barrel length, and another letter confirming the engraving having been done after leaving the factory.
