This Winchester was produced in 1941. The rifle's serial number is 48734. It has the standard 20 inch barrel chambered for the 351 Self Loading cartridge. The bore is bright and minty. This rifle shows little sign of being fired. However, this gun has seen carry use and wear. The action is tight and operates correctly. The take down feature locks up snug with no play. There is no cracks or damage to the stock or hand guard. The 5 round magazine is a correct original Winchester magazine. There is no extra holes drilled in this rifle for a scope or other device. This rifle is in original as produced condition. The sling is a latter addition. The original bluing would rate a 95% overall condition. The stock and hand guard retain all of the original finish. This is a very nice condition Winchester 1907 Military & Police Model. Many of these rifles were issued to guards at prisoner of war camps as well as regular prisons. This model saw much service in the police sector for many years. These guns were always reliable and accurate. This Winchester is a fine example of these Models!
