This Springfield "Pre-War" Garand was mfg in 8/41and features all of the correct component parts for this period.
The gun metal is a parkerized olive tone gray and matches throughout. The buttstock is a dark walnut w/o any dings, cracks or
scractches. There is a cartoughe of "SA/GHS" w/the circled serife "P" behind the Trigger housing. The wood overal is Excellent.
It also has matching uper and lower hanguards w/the upper haviong the T1 Grooved band. The action is normal. Also this Garand
has an "Uncut Operating Rod"(See Pics). The bore measures "1" . The bore is normal w/good rifliing.
