With the supply of M1 Garands drying up from the CMP, and the popularity of these rifles, M1 Garand's in this condition of this rifle are not often available. Out of a collection, this pristine Springfield Armory M1 Serial number 5797701 is in almost never issued condition. It has been issued, it has a few handling marks on the stock, but the bolt, action, chamber and other points of wear clearly show this is an exceptional rifle.
