This Colt 1849 Pocket is basically brand new. This revolver features nearly 99% of its dark inky blue on the barrel. the cylinder shows nearly 97% dark inky blue with a perfect cylinder scene. The frame, hammer, and loading lever show all of the original color case hardened finish. Approximately 95% silver on the backstrap and trigger guard. The grips show all the original varnish. Screws show a beautiful nitre blue. Overall Id rate this gun at a total of 97-98%. Mechcanically excellent. This is truly the pinnacle of investment quality and inability to improve upon. Ive seen one 5" that could compete with this gun, however that gun sold for double my asking price and was once part of the Al Cali collection. This is likely the best 4" pocket known. The case is original and is an extremely rare contour case. 2 original packs of cartridge skins. Mint nipple wrench, mint flask, mint mold, mint cap tin. Truly an exceptional complete set. Case retains the key. Such a stunning gun. Normally I'll deal a little bit on the prices but my price is firm at $20,000 on this Colt. I will keep it if I cant get my price as I know Ill never be able to find better or one to compare.
