The no-frills design of the composite stock with overmolded rubber grip inserts gives the impression that this rifle is ready for tough hunts under tough conditions. And that assumption would be correct. Looking good. From its matte black alloy receiver and hammer-forged barrel to its multi-lug bolt, this BAR is ready to put rounds right on target and meat on the table. The BAR ShortTrac Stalker is the hunting rifle that sets the bar for every other autoloader on the planet. This rifle comes ready to hunt with a 4-10 power Shepherd scope already mounted. It is in very good condition with only some cosmetic loss of the barrel coating under the barrel in front of the fore end and some loss of bluing at the muzzle. .243 Winchester
