Description:
The Cheyenne Commemorative 9422 Rifle is an authentic descendant of the Model 94. It was the first special edition Model 9422 issued by Winchester in 1977 for the Canadian market to honor the Cheyenne Nation. The Model 9422 Cheyenne has satin finished American walnut with a black checkered butt plate. The round barrel carries the inscription "Cheyenne Carbine 22." The right side of the receiver is engraved with Cheyenne warriors and the left side with a Cheyenne buffalo hunter and buffalo. The Cheyenne .22 has side ejection and a two-piece firing mechanism. The receiver, forearm tacks, receiver, tang engravings are gold-plated. There is a medallion embedded in the stock. The rifle and box are both in excellent condition .22 Long Rifle
