Description:
The Best of the Best when it comes to Kimber 22 Rimfire rifles. This is serial number 156 of approx 217 total production rifles. The gun is NIB, complete with Custom Match scope rings. Custom Match rifles featured:
• A match-dimensioned chamber (after all, tight is right)
• AAA French Walnut (actually California English Walnut) with an Ebony fore-end tip (a fabulous marriage of wood colors)
• Full-wrap forearm checkering and upgraded wrist checkering at 22 LPI like a Super America
• Scalloped step\fluted stock at the front of the trigger guard like the Custom Classics and Super Americas
• Neidner checkered widow peak butt plates (like the Custom Classics and Super Americas)
• Rust blued\matte finish, 22" barrel
• Inletted swivel studs
• Round-top receivers with bases and second-generation vertically-split rings in a matching rust blued\matte finish
• “Custom Match 22LR” scripted on the barrel
• Jeweled bolt
• Checkered (as opposed to serrated) bolt release, magazine release and safety.
I have owned three of these beautiful rifles. This one has the best wood of the three guns. My camera work does not reflect the true beauty of this rifle.
Note there is one tiny blemish on the left side of the stock that I could not get to show in the pictures.
