This Colt was produced in 1935. The pistol's serial number is 370931. It has the standard 2 inch barrel chambered for the 38 New Police cartridge. This cartridge is interchangeable with the 38 Smith & Wesson cartridge. This Colt appears to be in unfired condition. The firing pin recoil plate shows no sign of shell wear. This Colt locks up tight as you would expect for a new pistol. The original bluing would rate a 99% or better condition. The grips would also rate the same. There is no drag marks on the cylinder stops. This is a truely stunning Bankers Special revolver in amazing condition! The original box is serial numbered to this pistol. The original cleaning brush is still in the box as well as the Shooting Suggestions Pamplet. The box is in pretty good condition and is sound. The label is in fair condition with some loss. These bankers special revolvers are very collectable especially when the pistol is in new condition and having the original box! This Colt is one of these fine pistols!
