This 1911 DWM 9mm P.08 rig has two matching magazines, a great holster, and a fine gun with Bavarian unit markings. The 4"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright rifling. The gun retains approx. 95% blue with areas of light freckling. The straw parts retain approx. 80% finish. The chamber is dated 1911 and the toggle has the DWM logo. There is no stock lug. German military proof marks are on the right side of the receiver. The front grip strap is marked B7R which stands for the 7th Bavarian Infantry Regiment or Bayerisches Infanterie Regiment. All parts, including the grips, are matching. This pistol is in its original configuration without the later hold open device which was added to most pistols. The grips are very good with light wear and a .5"" bruise on the left panel. The action functions correctly. The brown holster, with a second matching magazine and tool, is fine with tight stitching. It is marked on the face under the flap BREHME in an arc over HILDESHEIM over 1916. Don't miss this all matching pre WWI P.08 rig. They are rarely seen.
