Description:
Serial #919422, .38-55, 26" round barrel with a good, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This rifle retains about 20-30% of the original blue finish, mostly on the barrel and tube, and a fairly bright pewter gray patina on the receiver. The rifle cycles very well and is nice and tight. Both walnut forend and buttstock are in good to very good condition having no cracks however do have scattered, minor handling marks and blemishes throughout. The original steel buttplate is mostly shiny, and has some scattered minor dark brown freckling. Overall this is a nice Winchester hunting rifle in good to very good condition with a shootable bore. Price reduced $1,500
