Colt Police Positive Target .22 caliber with original box and paperwork from 1933. The gun remains in excellent condition with just minor handling wear. The bore is excellent and the action is perfect. This gun has the seldom encountered Gold Bead front sight and U-notch rear sight. The original checkered walnut grips are free from cracks and chips. The original box is in very good condition and retains the labels with all of their original markings. It even has the blue label on the top right that shows the Gold Bead for the sight. The bottom of the box has the original matching serial number.The Police Positive Target was first offered in 1910 with the small frame version and then in 1926 Colt went to the slightly larger frame that was much easier to grip with its larger checkered walnut stocks and checkered back strap. This gun is the 2nd model with the improved frame size. These small frame target revolvers are often overlooked by collectors but are the small quality as the medium frame Officers Model Target or the large frame New Service Target. If you have been looking for a great small frame target revolver to collect or shoot you have just found it. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
