This is a vintage shotgun. A little history on this firearm
Remington Model 11 was America’s first autoloading shotgun. It had good ergonomics, was hammerless, recoil-operated, used side ejection and had a tube magazine. Its profile was fairly classic except its slightly tall raised receiver profile. The Model 11 enjoyed a popular 42 year production run from 1905 to 1947 that accounted for 850,000 built. The Model 11 was designed by none other than legendary John F. Browning, and, interestingly, The gun has a safety by the trigger. The gun could be taken down to separate the barrel from the rest of the gun, increasing ease of portability for travel, etc.
The shotgun looks like it was painted at some point it does have wear on the stock and on barrel. The tube for the shells has some damage as shown in pictures.
