Description:
Marlin Model 39A .22LR/L/S lever action rifle, 2nd Model, dated to 1941, with a "B" prefix serial number. This rifle features the iconic Marlin 39A lever action mechanism, with a color-case hardened frame, walnut furniture, and a rich blued finish on the barrel and magazine tube. The rifle is not fitted with the modern cross-block safety, only a half cock notch that may double as a safety mechanism. The rifle is in super overall condition, with much of the color case hardening still visible, rich bluing, and beautiful furniture, with only minor wear in areas, and holes drilled for sling studs. A small repair can be seen where the left side of the grip meets the stock. The action is smooth and the bore is excellent. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase.
