Fantastic Cased Colt 1855 Root Model 7. Excellent condition with 97% of the original finish. The only finish loss is at the rear of the cylinder and the bottom of the frame around the retaining screw where the loading lever is. Bright case colors on the hammer. Grips are excellent. All of the accessories are excellent. The Number 7 Root is identified by the presence of a screw in the cylinder. This is one of the most desirable Roots.
