Near mint example of the very difficult to find .270 Fwt. wearing the much more desirable aluminum buttplate. S/N 415*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1957. 99% Blue throughout. Even the relatively fragile anodized finish of aluminum bottom metal and buttplate are virtually flawless. 99% Varnish as well with only a couple of very faint drag marks on the outer surface of wood but nothing that actually penetrates the lacquer. 22" slim contour barrel with expectedly excellent bore and mechanics. Among the best you will see of this "must have" style and caliber!
