Description:
30-06, serial number 50XX. 24" barrel. Classic sporter configuration. Nicely figured walnut, stock cut and recoil pad added. 12 1/4" LOP to wood, 13 1/4" LOP to pad. Wood show minor marring/handling wear. Front and back sling swivel holes filled. Metal retains 95% original blue. Action shows 25% scroll engraving with upgraded trigger guard and floorplate. Trigger guard shows medium to high relief Roe deer, floorplate shows high relief European stag, nicely executed. Bore is excellent. Early Leupold scope base added with Weaver K3 scope. Scope is delaminating and lenses are yellowing. Set trigger is functioning correctly. Trigger safety works with double set trigger. Wing safety works, will not slear scope. 1951 proofed.
