240 Weatherby, serial number 2266XX. 24" non-factory medium contour barrel, unknown brand. Pre-64 action, bolt handle has 5 panel checkering pattern. Right hand bolt. Custom bottom metal, possibly Milliron. Custom checkered bolt release. Leupold fixed 8x scope, duplex crosshair. Custom rings and bases. Matte blue finish. Bore is excellent, throat shows minor wear. Nicely figured, left hand cheekpiece walnut stock with Cloward signature multiple point checkering pattern. Ebony forend tip. Skeleton buttplate and pistol grip cap both with checkerd inset.
