Made in 1905, this stunning time capsule Grade 2 10ga L.C. Smith remains in near mint and factory test fired only condition! The gun was made with 32" Chain Damascus barrels (Stunning!) splinter forend, double triggers, extractors, capped pistol grip buttstock with original lined hard rubber buttplate. The gun is engraved in standard Grade II pattern with birds in circles on both sides surrounded by light scroll flourishes. The factory original stocks are gorgeous European Walnut and have great figure for a Grade 2!
This gun remains in exceptionally fine original condition and is easily the single best Grade 2 10ga I have handled or sold! The barrels retain more than 97% of their gorgeous chain damascus pattern. The receiver is in full case color with only higher point edge wear from handling, not firing use. Stocks are sound and in beautiful original condition with only minor handling marks and impressions. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. The gun is a beautiful beast!
