SERIAL NUMBER 6879a BARREL 4 5/8" CALIBER 9MM MANUFACTURED EARLY WW2. Produced in German occupied Belgium at Fabrique Nationale with polished blue finish, checkered black plastic grips and slotted grip for shoulder stock. Marked with traditional FN markings and inclusive of German WaA140 inspection on frame ,thumbprint slide and barrel. Pistol remains without magazine safety as most wartime examples are found. Matching numbers on frame, barrel and slide. These early 9mm High Power pistols were frequently used by the Luftwaffe and have a relatively low survival rate. CONDITION, Very fine with over 90% finish remaining with losses at edges and grip straps. Action operates properly. The grips,magazine and wood holster/stock are post war manufacture. The bore is very fine and all marking are crisp. Gun operates and shoots as it should.
