Description:
Standard 24 inch octagon barre chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber. Full length mag tube. Original buckhorn rear sight and Winchester front sight with a replacement blade. Wood is generally very good with some minor dings. Most original varnish remains. Overall gun has sharp corners and good markings. Crisp tight action. Bore could use a good cleaning but does show light roughness. Sling swivels. This old 44 caliber '73 Winchester has that classic western look with octagon barrel, full mag and rifle butt. Should make a good shooter.
