Payment Types Accepted: paypal, venmo, cashiers check, credit card Description: Model 1826 flintlock musket manufactured by W.L. Evans in 1824 at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. The Type II Musket has a casehardened lock with detachable brass pan and a low-comb walnut stock. The lower sling swivel is mounted on a stud in front of the trigger guard bow. The lock plate is rounded behind the hammer and is flat with beveled edges ahead of it. The hammer is rounded with a reinforced cock. The musket has an iron ramrod and the rear of the lock is stamped with the vertical date: EVENS* VALLEY FORGE is stamped in front of the hammer (manufacture mistake). This muskets has been expertly cleaned and is absolutely stunning. Actually one of the cleanest examplets I have come accross.
