Description:
This Colt .41 Cal. “Thunderer” Model 1877 is accompanied by a Colt historical letter. It was shipped to Simmons Hardware Co. in St. Louis MO on April 30 1894, it was one of 10 guns in the shipment.
It remains in Excellent original condition, Nice case color on the frame and perfect fitting grips. The bluing is 97% with only some wear on the ejector rod housing and the cylinder from sliding around in a sock drawer. The bore and chambers are as new, perhaps un-fired. The action works in both single action and double action mode with a tight lock up. The serial numbers are all matching as would be expected in a Colt of this quality.
This Colt is a nice addition to the most demanding collections.
Please note that it is being sold only as a part of a cased set, paired with the Engraved Lightning shown on G.I. # 101790401. The case for this set displays the interior lid of the original box for this revolver. A novel addition to enhance the set is an 1895 Eagle Quarter Doller. The Colt Letter is included.

SHIPPING:
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with a return receipt. Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this Cased pair of Antique handguns is $60.00.

RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged. If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made. Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded. All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
PAYMENT:
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 3% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address. This information can be phoned in, or E-Mailed. All orders must be paid in advance, C.O.D. orders are not accepted. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay.
LAYAWAYS:
A 20% deposit is required. Balance is due in 60 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 60 days. Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX:
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
