Description:
Serial #46269, .38 S&W, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This early five-screw, I-frame revolver retains about 90-95% of the original blue that has silvered along the high and exposed edges, as well as along the sides of the muzzle. The ejector rod is a later nickel replacement, correct for the model, but not done by the factory. The service trigger and hammer retain most of their original color case-hardening, with some graying along the edges. The diamond-center grips are numbered to the gun, and are in fine shape with only minor wear and flattening of the points. This is a nice example of a pre-war Regulation Police, and is in very good-fine condition. FFL or C&R
