Description:
Serial #244504W1083, 9mm Para., 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a November, 1982 dated, Simpson Ltd. imported pistol that has matching numbers, and a small import stamp on the right side of the frame. The barrel and slide retain about 97-98% of the armory refreshed dark gray matte finish, while the lightweight, “BW" (Bundeswehr) marked alloy frame has a commensurate amount of the original black anodized finish remaining that has flaked white along some of the high edges and projections. The checkered black plastic grips are likewise in fine shape with numerous small handling marks and surface scratches, as well as some flattening of the points. The pistol comes with a single Waltrher banner marked, P.38 magazine, and is a very nice example of a military P1 in fine-excellent condition overall. FFL
