Description:
Serial #48024, .32 S&W, 3 ¼ inch ribbed round barrel with a bright excellent bore. This is a Harrington & Richardson second model, 5th variation, auto-ejecting revolver with “F" letter code indicating a 1903 manufacture date. The metal surfaces of this later production second model retain about 99% original nickel finish showing a few minor handling marks and some areas of mild clouding overall. The trigger guard similarly retains 99% original bright blue and the hammer and trigger show vibrant case-hardened colors throughout. The latch shows smoky colors muting to gray, the barrel address with five patent dates remains crisp and the underside of the topstrap shows “F" letter code. The black checkered hard rubber grips remain in excellent condition with just a very thin hairline crack forming at the base of the right panel. Barrel-frame-fit is excellent and the action seems to function well mechanically with solid timing and lock-up. A very fine H&R revolver for the collector. FFL or C&R
