Description:
The 1903 Springfield was developed to replace the Springfield Krag–Jørgensen rifle and was used by the United States military from 1903 to 1936 and was replaced by the M1 Garand rifle but the 1903 still served specialty roles in the service such as a sniper rifle years later on the surplus market the 1903 was a popular choice to sporterize by chopping the barrel and stock or replacing the stock this 1903 has had its barrel chopped down the finish removed and blued the stock replaced and the receiver drilled and tapped for a modern scope mount .30-06 Springfield
