This is a hard to find Norinco 84S. With Norinco's success of the commercial 56S AK chambered in 7.62x39mm Norinco decided to expand their product line by introducing an AK chambered in the popular 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge. The 84S was introduced in 1989 but importation was subsequently band by the ATF in 1989. 5.56x45mm NATO
