Description:
Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver. Manufactured in 1853, nice early gun and most likely seen use in the Civil War. This is an all matching 1849: frame, barrel, trigger guard, blackstrap, cylinder, cylinder arbor, loading lever, and wedge all match. 6" barrel is a nice brown / gray patina with some nice original blue mixing in. Cylinder scene is almost 100% present. Frame retains some nice molted case colors. Great markings. Gun indexes properly and functions as it should. Traces of silver still showing on trigger guard and blackstrap. Grips are in very nice condition. This is an untouched 1849 Colt with the ever popular 6" barrel.
