1882 stamped italian Vetterli-Vitali model 1870, single shot in 10.35x37rmm. Refurbished in 1905. Rifle is in beautiful condition and well kept. Stock has minor blemishes. Bore is in excellent condtion. Original barrel with blueing intact. Patina is present on barrel, action, buttplate, and trigger guard as well as barrel. Action is as smooth as butter. These rifles are very rarely seen in the cavalry model and unconverted to 6.5 carcano.
