NAZI KONGSBERG ARSENAL COLT 1914 CAL. 45ACP SER. 28475, DATED 1942. THIS IS ONE OF GUNS MADE DURING NAZI OCCUPATION OF NORWAY AT THE KONGSBERG ARSENAL. THEY WERE SENT TO THE NAZI "FELDZUEGSTAB NORD AOK" FOR FOR THE USE BY THE "QUISLINGS", NORWAY'S NAZI COLLABERATORS. THE CONDITION IS OUTSTANDING. IT HAS RETAINED ADOUT 95% OF THE ARSENAL FINISH. THE LITTLE LOSS IT HAS IS FROM SHARP EDGE SILVERING AND A FEW LIGHT SCATTERED PIN PRICKS. NO RUST PATCHES OR SCRATCHES ANYWHERE. THE SLIDE IS DATED 1942. THE NUMBER 1 HAS BEEN RESTRUCT WITH A PUNCH. THE ORIGINAL NUMBER 1 IS SEEN AS A SHADOW TO THE RIGHT OF THE PUNCH DOTS. YOU WILL NOTE THAT THE "B" PROOF BELOW THE NUMBER ONE IS ALSO LIGHLTY STRUCK. ALL NUMBERS MATCH EXCEPT THE HAMMER**. THE ORIGINAL WOODEN GRIPS ARE ALSO VERY NICE, NO SPLITS OR CHIPS, JUST SOME FLATTENED POINTS. THE GRIP SCREWS ARE PERFECT. THE SLIDE RAILS, BOLT FACE AND FEED RAMP SHOW LITTLE USE. THE BORE IS GREAT, MIRROR BRIGHT WITH SHARP CRISP RIFLING AND JUST A WHISP OF SCATTERED FROST. IT COMES WITH THE ONE ORIGINAL MAG. DURING THE WAR ONLY 8200 WERE EVER MADE. PROBABLY LESS THAN 10% ARE STILL AROUND. THAT MAKES THIS PRIZE VERY SCARCE AND MISSING FROM MOST COLLECTIONS. HERE'S A GOOD CHANCE TO GET A CENTERPIECE GUN AT A VERY MODEST PRICE.....$2895.*
