This is a Leupold VX-II 3-9 x 40 Rifle Scope. It is a variable 3 to 9 power scope with a 40mm objective lens and a silver finish. Leupold no longer makes silver finish scopes - so the only option if you need one is to shop the used scope market. The main tube on this scope is one inch diameter and the scope is 12-3/8 inches long. It has duplex reticle. This scope has a serial number with a "P" letter suffix which means this scope was made in 2006. This scope is now and always will be covered by Leupold's life time guarantee which I have copied from Leupold'ssite and included here:

You don't need proof of ownership or a warranty card, and there's no time limit. This scope is in excellent condition. It has 98%+ of its original finish. There are very light ring marks. There are a couple of very small nicks or marks from normal use but no serious damage anywhere. The view through the scope is bright and clear. The reticle is clean and straight. Everything works as it should. This is a very nice looking, fully functional high quality scope ready to install and give a lifetime of service on your rifle. The photos show the condition well.
